Expression of dimeric human tumour necrosis factor receptor 2 (dTNFR) from pcdTNFR and pGTRTT transfected Cos-7 cells. Cos-7 cells plated in 12-well plates at 0.4 × 106/well were transiently transfected with 2 μg of the constructs pGTRTT, pcdTNFR, pGTRTEmpty and pcDNA3. Cells transfected with pGTRTT or pGTRTEmpty were either cultured in normal media (lighter bars) or media supplemented with doxycycline (1 μg/ml; darker bars). Levels of human TNFR2 were measured in culture supernatants collected after 48 hours and are expressed as the mean of triplicate values, with vertical lines representing the standard error.
