Leucocytes adherent to the endothelium of postcapillary synovial venules. Shown are the numbers of leucocytes adherent to the endothelium of postcapillary synovial venules (cells/mm2 endothelial surface) in complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA)/collagen II exposed FVB/NJ, DBA1/J and T-cell receptor (TCR) transgenic mice (collagen +) in comparison with CFA treated controls (collagen -). Intravital fluorescence microscopy of the knee joints was performed at 6 weeks after collagen exposure for induction of arthritis.
