  1. Expression and regulation after 168 hours of hormonal treatment (T, testosterone; E2, 17β-estradiol) in THP-1 cells (without and with staurosporine). Data are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation of the positive area per 100 cells stained for NF-κB complex, IκB-α and IκB-α-ser 32. Results were obtained as the mean of five different experiments. The statistical evaluation was determined for T versus control, for E2 versus control, and for E2 versus T (absence of significance not reported).
