Expression of three selected biomarker candidates of interest. (a) Galectin-3, (b) Veriscan/Cspg2, and (c) Socs3 were selected as putative biomarker candidates of interest. The signal intensity data for these three genes were plotted over time. There are three probe sets for Versican that are significantly different between the arthritic and control samples. Data are expressed as Mean ± standard deviation. Note that expression of these probe sets are low in the control samples, and are upregulated in the arthritic samples at all time points examined.
