Inhibitory effect of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) on mononuclear infiltration in the liver and the salivary glands. Chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) mice were treated as described in Figure 1, and histopathology of the liver and salivary glands examined 12 weeks after GVHD induction. HGF treatment inhibited mononuclear cell infiltration into the liver and salivary glands of chronic GVHD mice. Original magnification ×200.
