  1. Confluent osteoblasts were incubated for their last 2 days of culture in Ham's F12/DMEM medium containing 2% charcoal-treated fetal bovine serum and 50 nM 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3. Values are means ± SEM. The statistical analysis compared OA values with their respective normal values.
