VEGF splice variants. Expression of VEGF-121 (526 bp) and VEGF-165 (658 bp) in cartilage explants and immortalized chondrocytes after stimulation with PMA (10 μg/ml) and SIN-1 (10 μM). The splice variants VEGF-121 and VEGF-165 are detected in cartilage explants and C28/I2 cells.
