Detection of citrullinated proteins on two-dimensional gel electrophoresis HL-60 protein maps. Citrullinated proteins were detected on two-dimensional gel electrophoresis HL-60 protein maps (a) before and (b) after treatment with peptidyl-arginine deiminase. The membranes were incubated with rabbit anti-citrulline antibodies, washed and then incubated with biotinylated-goat anti-rabbit antibodies followed by IRDye 800-conjugated streptavidin, and were visualized using the Odyssey™ Infrared Imaging system.
