Treating spontaneous arthritis with a TLR4 antagonist suppresses the clinical and histological characteristics of arthritis. Abdollahi-Roodsaz and colleagues have recently shown that treating collagen-induced arthritis (left-hand side) with a TLR4 antagonist suppresses the clinical and histological characteristics of arthritis (right-hand side).
