Adoptive cell transfer of Bcl-xL- and FoxP3-transduced regulatory T cells reduces paw inflammation. The protocol of adoptive cell transfer for collagen-induced arthritis is described in the legend of Figure 5. On day 60 of immunization, hind foot paws were amputated, fixed, and decalcified.
