In vitro depletion of B22a1+ T cells reduces recall response to collagen type II. Vβ12-transgenic mice were immunized with collagen type II (CII) and 10 days later lymph node cells were depleted of B22a1+ T cells in vitro, and alterations in the CII-specific [H3]thymidine incorporation were noted after 4 days of culture with lathyritic CII, K264 peptide, GalHyK264 peptide, medium alone and ConA. Data show mean ± standard error of the mean of four individual mice before and after depletion. *P < 0.05. CPM, counts per minute.
