Effects of adiponectin on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-1, MMP-3, and MMP-13 in osteoarthritis (OA) chondrocytes. In the conditioned media, adiponectin significantly increased the levels of MMP-1 (A) and MMP-3 (B), and MMP-13 (c) (n = 6, duplicate, P < 0.01 for all).
