Characterization of mPGES-1 genetic deletion. (a) Western blot showing loss of mPGES-1 expression in dermal fibroblasts isolated from mPGES-1 null mice. Representative data from four separate cell lines per group are shown. (b) Dermal fibroblasts isolated from wild-type (WT) and mPGES-1 null mice were tested for the presence of the mPGES-1 by indirect immunofluorescence of cells with an anti-mPGES-1 antibody. Cells were counterstained with 4'-6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) (blue) to detect nuclei. Representative data from four separate cell lines per group are shown. mPGES-1, microsomal prostaglandin E2 sythnase-1.
