  1. Distribution of bone edema, erosions, and synovitis in metacarpophalangeal joints (MCP), base of metacarpal (CMC), wrist joints, and radioulnar joint area in patients with very early rheumatoid arthritis (VERA; disease duration, < 3 months), and early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA; disease duration, < 12 months).
  2. The distribution of erosions in separate joint areas in patients with VERA and ERA revealed significant difference only in MCP joints (aP < 0.05). No difference was found in bone edema and synovitis.
