Circles represent the Bis group and triangles represent the Bis + statin group. Significant increases in serum TRACP-5b were observed at 6, 12 and 18 months in the Bis + statin group, but in the Bis group a significant increase was only observed at 18 months. *P < 0.05, *P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, for comparison to baseline for each group.
