Expression of OSCAR by endothelial cells in response to inflammatory cytokines. BMECs were cultured in triplicate in the presence or absence of recombinant TNF-α and IL1-β. A. OSCAR gene expression was assessed at 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours by QRT PCR. GAPDH was used as the housekeeping gene. Fold induction was calculated as a measure of 2ddCT. B. Induction of OPG gene expression at 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours. C. Release of soluble OSCAR was assessed in duplicate, by ELISA, as per the manufacturer's instructions. The mean values were calculated.
