IRF5 linkage disequilibrium maps. Pairwise D' (A) and r² (B) between 44 polymorphisms in the IRF5 locus obtained in 95 Spanish healthy controls are represented. Ten additional single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were excluded because of low minor allele frequency (<2%) or complete redundancy with other SNPs (see Results). Color scale from white to red indicates D' values from 0 to 1 in (A) and that from white to black indicates r² values from 0 to 1 in (B). The triangle in (B) surrounds the block containing SNPs in tight linkage disequilibrium with rs729302. Positions of the coding sequences of IRF5 and TNPO3 are signaled.
