Allelic frequencies, calculated as the number of each specific allele divided by the total number of alleles (number of individuals × 2 (2n)), are shown within parentheses. Only those P-values ≤0.05 are indicated. P-values ≤0.001 were considered statistically significant, and the corresponding HLAs were considered to be associated. HLAs with P-values between 0.001 and 0.01 were considered suggestive of association, and those with P-values between 0.01 and 0.05 were considered marginally associated. The rest of the HLA specificities described (A*43, A*74, B*59, B67, B*73, B*78, B*81 and B*83) were not detected in our population.
