IL-29 enhances Toll-like receptors 2-, 3- and 4-mediated IL-6 and IL-8 expression in MH7A cells. MH7A cells were pretreated with IL-29 (100 ng/ml) for 24 hours, then further stimulated with peptidoglycan (PGN) (2.5 μg/ml), polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid (poly(I:C)) (25 μg/ml) or lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (100 ng/ml). Expression of mRNA (A) and (B) and protein (C) and (D) of IL-6 and IL-8 was determined by real-time PCR and ELISA, respectively.
