  1. The youngest AS patient was excluded from this analysis because of lack of a healthy control. Calculations on the tibia were made on 68 patients and controls and on radius of 61 patients and controls. The HRpQCT measurements of the radius from seven AS patients had to be excluded towing to motion artefacts.
