IP-10 levels are increased in patients with localized scleroderma. Plasma IP-10 levels in pediatric localized scleroderma (LS) patients, as a whole group, and then divided into active and inactive disease, compared to that of healthy controls. IP-10 levels in the plasma were significantly higher in pediatric LS patients in comparison to healthy controls, and those LS subjects with active disease had significantly higher levels than those with inactive localized scleroderma.
