Effects of TNF and IL-1β on the NF-κB pathway in cell lines. Wild-type (WT) and mutant TNFRSF1A HEK-293 unstimulated (NC) or stimulated for 10 minutes or with TNF (6 ng/mL) or IL-1β (1 ng/mL). Western blot shows p-IκBα (Ser32) and p65 subunit of NF-κB (Ser536) and the corresponding β-actin, used as a control. The histograms show semi-quantification of band intensities after normalization against the negative control (100%) (OD; Image J software, version 1.47 NIH, Bethesda, Maryland, USA). Columns indicate percent values.
