Figure 2From: Association of large intergenic noncoding RNA expression with disease activity and organ damage in systemic lupus erythematosusAssociation of large intergenic noncoding RNA linc0949 expression with disease activity in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. (A) Patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) with a moderate to severe flare of disease (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index 2000 (SLEDAI-2K) score >10) or a mild flare of disease (SLEDAI-2K score from 5 to 10) had significantly lower large intergenic noncoding RNA linc0949 expression than did those without a disease flare (SLEDAI-2K score <4) at the time of blood donation. (B) linc0949 expression was negatively correlated with SLEDAI-2K score. (C) linc0949 expression was significantly decreased in patients with SLE with a reduced level of complement C3 (<80 mg/dl) compared with those with normal C3levels. (D) A significantly positive correlation was observed between linc0949 expression and C3 level in patients with SLE. **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001.Back to article page
