Differences within the sublining layer for expression of CD68, CD55, CD3, CD38 and MCT in all patients and patients with RA and OA respectively. Expression of cellular markers was highest in the upper sublining adjacent to the lining layer (blue), with a decrease towards the middle (green) and lower (fawn) layers within the deeper synovium (except CD3). *Statistically significant; â—‹outliers; â–Ľextremes
