TRPA1 protein is expressed in primary human OA chondrocytes and human T/C28a2 chondrocyte cell line. Chondrocyte cultures were stimulated with IL-1β (100 pg/ml) for 24 h. Extracted proteins were immunoprecipitated and TRPA1 was detected with Western blot analysis. HEK293 cells transiently transfected with human TRPA1 plasmid were used as a positive control.
