Negative log2 ratios of the absolute number of cells per lymphocyte subset at the time of arthritis development (conversion) divided by the absolute number of cells per lymphocyte subset 12 or 24 months prior to arthritis development in 17 patients with arthralgia who developed arthritis. A ratio >0 indicates increased cell number at 12 or 24 months before arthritis development compared to the conversion time point. Black line represents the median of the whole group. Differences between the conversion time point and 12 or 24 months prior to arthritis development (e.g. difference from 0) was tested using the one-sample t test or Wilcoxon signed rank test. *P <0.05, **P <0.01 and ***P <0.001.
