Immunofluorescent co-localization of ultra-small superparamagnetic particles of iron oxide (USPIO)-P258 (stained red by Texas Red) with IL-7 receptor alpha (IL-7Rα) (stained green by fluorescein) on the joints of mice with collagen-induced arthritis is evidenced by the yellow/orange color obtained after merging the microphotographs (Merge). No co-localization was observed for USPIO-PEG. Note that anti-PEG antibody recognizes both USPIO-P258 and USPIO-PEG via their PEG coat
