a Of the 377 genes associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that were reported by Okada et al., 11 were uni-directionally differentially expressed in whole blood from both treated patients (tRA) and untreated patients (nRA) with RA, when compared to 12 healthy controls (HC). The p values from both analyses were combined by Fisher’s method. A significance threshold of p = 0.05 after correction for false discovery rate was applied.
