Effect of resveratol (RSV) on alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, osteocalcin secretion and dickkopft-2 (DKK2) expression in osteoblasts (Ob) in osteoarthritis (OA). Confluent OA Ob were treated with increasing doses of RSV (10, 50, 100, 500 or 1000 nM) or the vehicle for 48 h in presence of 1,25(OH)2D3. Cell culture medium was collected for the determination of osteocalcin secretion and cell lysates were used for the determination of ALP activity. a ALP activity in OA (n = 6) Ob. b Osteocalcin release by OA (n = 6) Ob.
