Survival analysis: Kaplan-Meier method with log-rank test for comparison of survival curves. a Patients with cancer-associated myositis (CAM) are compared based on the serological status. b Survival analysis in patients with CAM and those with cancer unrelated to myositis. Survival was not significantly different depending on the presence of myositis-specific autoantibodies (MSAs) in patients with CAM (p > 0.05). Survival in patients with CAM was shorter than in patients with cancer unrelated to myositis (p = 0.02 by log-rank test)
