Differences in cytokine levels between patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and healthy subjects. The plots show the serum level (picograms/millilitre) of each of the 10 cytokines in patients with SLE and in healthy controls. The bar represents the median value. Data were compared using the Mann-Whitney test; n.s. = not significant, **p < 0.01, ****p < 0.0001. Both values remained significant after Bonferroni correction.
