Tofacitinib inhibits the interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) synthesis from granulocyte–macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF)–stimulated neutrophils. Neutrophils (2 × 106/mL) were stimulated with GM-CSF (10 ng/mL) in the presence or absence of the indicated concentrations of tofacitinib for 24 h, and supernatants were analyzed for IL-1β production by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
