Interleukin (IL)-1β induces HOTAIR expression in NP cells. HOTAIR expression levels were determined by qRT-PCR in NP cells treated with IL-1β (10 ng/mL) for 6, 12, 24, or 48 h. Untreated NP cells were used as the control group. Data are presented as mean ± SD from 3 samples for each group in 3 independent experiments. Data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance followed by a Tukey test. *P < 0.05 vs. control group
