From: Cold-inducible RNA-binding protein (CIRP) potentiates uric acid-induced IL-1β production
MSU induces IL-1β synthesis from CIRP-primed neutrophils. Neutrophils (2 × 106/ml) were pretreated with various concentrations of CIRP (300 ng/ml) for 6 h. After pretreatment, the cells were stimulated with various concentrations of MSU for 18 h and supernatants were analyzed for IL-1β production by ELISA.
