Results derived from a mixed-effect linear model with no other covariates (univariable analysis) or including potential confounders factors collected at time of recruitment (multivariable analysis): length of the radiographic interval, gender, age, smoking habit, radiographic sacroiliitis, mSASSS average, presence of syndemosphytes, HLAB27, and time from symptomatology onset. Statistical significance was assessed using Wald tests derived from the model.
