Spot quantity values were measured on two BALF gel maps of individual SSc_Fib+ (n = 9) and SSc_Fib- (n = 6) patients by PDQUEST 7.1 software. Results are expressed as median and interquartile range (IQR). Spot no. refers to the annotations in Figure 1; p values were calculated with the Mann–Whitney U test.
