(a) Virtually all THP-1 cells were positively immunostained with the CD68 antibody (arrows) and (b) negatively immunostained with the normal mouse IgG antibody (arrowheads). (c) There were very few positively stained bovine nucleus pulposus cells for CD68 (arrow). Most were negative (arrowhead).
