  1. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) synovial mononuclear cell (MNC) cells were cultured in triplicate with anti-CD69, anti-CD18, or anti-CD49d antibodies at a final concentration of 5 μg/ml for 24 hours at 37°C, as described in Materials and methods. Spontaneous tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α production was measured in the supernatants by ELISA and results expressed as percentage inhibition relative to the control wells (cells only). Significance (P value) was calculated using one-way analysis of variance with post hoc Bonferroni correction.
