Mean maximal diameter of subchondral bone cysts (SBC) in the medial tibial plateau for all rodents post surgery. Points represent the SBC measured in the coronal plane using micro-CT at each time point. Repeated measures ANOVA found the diameter increased significantly at 3 months post-ACLX (anterior cruciate ligament with partial medial menisectomy) versus the 1-month time point (*P < 0.05).
