  1. The first nine SNPs were analysed in the first phase of the study and the remaining 16 in the second. Results of Mantel-Haenszel analysis are shown. All odds ratios (ORs) are expressed for the risk allele. Analyses of some of the SNPs in these samples have already been reported [24, 25]. CI, confidence interval. aAnalysis performed only in women because the locus is in the X chromosome.
