Primary human chondrocytes were either treated with 10 ng/ml interleukin 1β (IL-1β) for the indicated time points (A) or treated with various concentrations of IL-1β for 1 hour (B). Whole-cell lysates were prepared and analyzed by Western blotting with antibodies against tumor necrosis factor β (TNF-β). The results shown are representative of three independent experiments.
