The level of protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 22 (PTPN22) is negatively correlated with the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics/American College of Rheumatology Damage Indiex (SLICC). Transcript level of total PTPN22 (A) and PTPN22.2 (B) in peripheral blood of patients with lupus described in Figure 4 was plotted against SLICC. Correlation was analyzed with a non-parametric Spearman test and adjusted for covariates including gender, age, age of disease onset, duration of disease, and race (white or non-white).
