From: Regulation of CD154-induced interleukin-12 production in synovial fluid macrophages
Production of IL-12p70 after priming with IFN-γ. Synovial fluid(SF) macrophages (n = 6) and normal peripheral blood (PB) monocytes (n = 7) were precultured in the presence of IFN-γ (100 ng/ml) for 16 hours and then CD154 transfectants (at a ratio of 1:5 transfectants:macrophages) or control J558L-cells (1:5) were added for the last 24 hours of culture. Supernatants were collected at the end of the culture and the production of IL-12p70 was determined using ELISA. Individual values from each experiment are shown.
