Effect of IL-33 deficiency on T helper (Th) cell subsets. Mice as in Fig. 2 were killed 45 days after the first injection. Splenocytes from nine mice randomly selected in both groups were stained with fluorochrome-conjugated anti-CD4, anti-FoxP3, anti-IFN-γ and anti-IL-17 antibodies. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) were defined as CD4+ FoxP3+ cells, and Th1 and Th17 cells were defined as CD4+ IFN-γ+ and CD4+ IL-17+ cells, respectively. The proportion of FoxP3+ (a), IFN-γ+ (b), and IL-17+ cells (c) among CD4+ cells are shown. Data are representative of one experiment in two similar experiments.
