Effect of IL-33 deficiency on T helper (Th) cell subsets. Mice as in Fig. 2 were killed 45 days after the first injection. Splenocytes from nine mice randomly selected in both groups were stained with fluorochrome-conjugated anti-CD4, anti-FoxP3, anti-IFN-γ and anti-IL-17 antibodies. Regulatory T cells (Tregs) were defined as CD4⁺ FoxP3⁺ cells, and Th1 and Th17 cells were defined as CD4⁺ IFN-γ⁺ and CD4⁺ IL-17⁺ cells, respectively. The proportion of FoxP3⁺ (a), IFN-γ⁺ (b), and IL-17⁺ cells (c) among CD4⁺ cells are shown. Data are representative of one experiment in two similar experiments.
