Levels of CgA₄₃₉, CgA-FRs, VS-1 or their ratios to CgA_tot were correlated with markers of systemic inflammation (ESR and CRP), of local inflammation (PTX3) and with the number of vessels involved by the disease (N vessels, see “Methods”). The impact of the treatment with PPIs and of arterial hypertension is also considered. The Spearman correlation coefficient and the relative p values are shown
