Inhibition of the resistin stimulation by adenylate cyclase-associated protein 1 (CAP1) abrogation. Fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) from patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) were pretreated by transfection with CAP1 siRNA or negative control siRNA. The expression of CAP1 mRNA was examined by RT-PCR (a). RA FLSs were then incubated with resistin (1000 ng/ml) for 24 h.
