  1. No significant difference was observed among any of the variables between the two groups at T0 and at T6, except for regular physical activity at T6 (p < 0.01)
  2. N nutritional group, C control group, BMI body mass index, SBP systolic blood pressure, DBP diastolic blood pressure, ASDAS-CRP Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score with C-reactive protein, ASDAS-ESR Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score with erythrocyte sedimentation rate, BASDAI Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index, BASFI Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index, BASMI Bath Ankylosing Score Metrology Index, VAS visual analogue scale, HAQ Health Assessment Questionnaire, TJC tender joint count, SJC swollen joint count, MASES Maastricht Ankylosing Spondylitis Enthesitis Score, LEI Leeds Enthesitis Index, PASI Psoriasis Area Severity Index, I-CQR5 Italian version of 5-item Compliance Questionnaire for Rheumatology
  3. *A significant change in ASDAS-CRP and regular physical activity was observed in the change of the two timepoints in the N compared to C (p = 0.003 and p < 0.01, respectively)
