Targeted therapies for senescent cells in joint tissues. Senolytics (Quercetin, Dasatinib, USP7 inhibitors, ABT263) by inducing the apoptosis of senescent cells and Senomorphics (Nutlin-3a, Canakinumab, CL82198) by blocking the paracrine secretion of senescent secretory phenotype (SASP) to delay the effect of senescent cells on the development of OA. Senolytics induce apoptosis in senescent cells by restoring the activity of p53. Senomorphics inhibit the secretion of SASP to attenuate the pro-senescence effect of senescent cells on surrounding cells
